Ready to hunt love at Christmas?

This author really surprises me with her powerful prose :-)

MY OPINION 

This is the shortest novella I've ever read. However, it's totally worth it as it depicts a dark fantasy come to life with a vivid, violent prose that paints lurid actions in all its carnal glory. 

Just a couple of scenes that include the hunt and the resolution. That hunt, wow. A woman being pursued by a beast of a man through an unyielding forest. The fear, the pain and the unrelenting chase are palpable. Then, she is caught. Another wow. Pure, animalistic lust that explodes with colourful words. In the end, all is explained in a very interesting way. I loved it, but why is this so short? 😂

The bonus in all this is another story, Caught for the Holidays, which explains the origin of this unorthodox couple. And it's superb, too. A dark beginning of stalking and harsh claiming that evolves into a heart-warming scene of reunion, love, hope and blissful family happiness. I recommend it, incredibly hot and sweet.

Where were those bird’s moments ago to warn me? 

The looming frame comes into focus, and the next scream dies on my lips. 

I know…They never saw a predator like this coming. 

He slinks closer.

His gaze seizes mine. Hunger is a pulsing, blood-hot need set deep in hazel eyes.
