Ready to hunt love at Christmas?

This author really surprises me with her powerful prose :-)

MY OPINION 

This is the shortest novella I've ever read. However, it's totally worth it as it depicts a dark fantasy come to life with a vivid, violent prose that paints lurid actions in all its carnal glory. 

Just a couple of scenes that include the hunt and the resolution. That hunt, wow. A woman being pursued by a beast of a man through an unyielding forest. The fear, the pain and the unrelenting chase are palpable. Then, she is caught. Another wow. Pure, animalistic lust that explodes with colourful words. In the end, all is explained in a very interesting way. I loved it, but why is this so short? 😂

The bonus in all this is another story, Caught for the Holidays, which explains the origin of this unorthodox couple. And it's superb, too. A dark beginning of stalking and harsh claiming that evolves into a heart-warming scene of reunion, love, hope and blissful family happiness. I recommend it, incredibly hot and sweet.

MY OPINION

This is one of the most beautiful D/l romance I've ever read. It's teasing, it's funny, it's deep, it's pure bliss.

The premise is the perfect bait, then it turns into an entrapment for the senses thanks to a gorgeously descriptive intimacy where the young woman experiences a transcending and touching encounter with this authoritative man whose dog she walks. I loved their scenes in the kitchen and what transpired between them when they crossed the boundaries into fantasy territory (SO hot).

The fun part is when we meet this quirky girl who works two jobs and loves baking for her many siblings. the provocative part is the interactions she has with this gruff boss of hers, a dog owner with as many frowns as little smiles he has left.

The amazing part is how they fall into a deep well of raw emotions and kinky play, and the narrative is so intimate, so endearing, so engulfing in its emotions. I hadn't expected who their relationship would evolve, and what it meant for them but I loved every sensual, dramatic, sweet part of it.

Great story to savour and feel.
