Hey, book buddies :-) Recently, a new teacher/student romance came out, so I wanted to share my opinion with you. As a heads up, it's hot! :-D

My opinion

Forbidden romance filled with sensuality, emotion and family conflict. And it's good on all fronts. I devoured it like a decadent cupcake.

Whenever this author writes a novel with an MF couple, I jump at the chance to read it. Now this story has an older teacher with a chip on his shoulder falling for his young and sweet good girl of a student. He falls really hard. My, my, the heat that's coming off this theme is positively steamy. 

What really appealed to me is that the male teacher has very ugly baggage that makes his lust for a student even more ironic and sinful. Yes, it can be more naughty than just the basics, believe me. Callum Park comes from money. His family is a heavy weight in the story. Not only his, though. Willa, the student, has domestic issues that made my heart go out to her, but it's worse than that. It becomes dangerous for both of them for the usual reasons plus a couple extra that infuses the plot with twisted collateral. 

The relationship is tentative at first. The scenes in the classroom when he is panting with need and she pines for her alluring yet unattainable teacher are extremely provocative. Then passion explodes between them like a furious storm of desire and longing. I loved how they fall in love. He is very sweet with her when he needs to be, and he's commanding and hot all the time. Yet the man is carrying a trauma like a hunch on his back which mixes badly with poor WIlla's family situation. There are other things going on on both sides of this feud. No moment to spare to boredom, I assure you. From bliss to hurt to drama, and I was glued to it all. 

Corruption, neglect, conspiracy, violence and terror all have their spotlight in this twisted Romeo and Juliet romance. Love prevails, though the price is high. How I hated some of the characters there. Fortunately, the Park family is full of quirky characters too. And I believe they are getting their story told. Yay.

MY OPINION 

Pretty romance with good feelings, a good man, and family warmth all over. 

I enjoyed the maturity of themes throughout this novella. It actually ties to a trilogy of stories around a club that I also liked a lot. In this case,  the female character is a single mum with a sad past but full of plans for the future. I admire her ambition to study in order to provide a better life for her young son. That’s how she meets a handsome man with whom she has great chemistry. However, he ends up being her economics teacher. Thus the conflict. 

A combination of things make this story well developed, serious yet also hot and romantic. They act responsibly, yet they can't deny their special bond. They respect each other’s needs and safety, yet they also fall into a passionate relationship. I liked how she supports him in a delicate matter, and how he protects them both regarding the classes. The danger of discovery is handled bravely and I think the resolution is perfect. Very nice wrap-up to all the characters involved.

MY OPINION

This bad teacher meets his match in a quirky, innocent, daring student who won't take no for an answer. Only kinky orders that fulfill both their naughty desires.

I think Clarissa Wild has reinvented herself in this novel. It's surely dirty and full to the brim with teacher-student fantasies. The steamy times are plenty, intense and truly exhilarating. Though it's not just an excuse to act raunchy, hot and bothered. From strangers in a bar with a pulsing chemistry to forbiden fling that involves spankings and dominance, this impossible couple strives to forget the pain in their lives indulging in each other.

I really enjoyed the way she submits to his unorthodox whims at the same time she challenges his perceptions. She thaws his isolated nature while he provides some needed solace for her as well as a bountiful of carnal experiences.

The last part explodes with all the consequences of their forbidden liaison. I liked that both characters' dramatic secrets collided and finally had their unorthodox happy ending. The writing style is swift and casual, and this romance will be perfect for any reader who wants fast fantasies with some emotional drama and romance.

Everyone turns around.

MY OPINION

Hot filling. Beware! Do not touch unless in the mood for kinky stuff and sweet overload.

I'm still in awe of this novella. I wasn't sure what to expect beyond the obvious naughty student/professor scenario. I'm happily surprised and satisfied because it's well written, sexy and romantic too. 

The story plays out a fantasy many people have contemplated at least once in their lives. A college professor takes a teasing student in the confines of the classroom. The narrative is dripping with dirty talk and filthy fantasies come true. And it dares go further with a twist to the situation that's fun, and with an epilogue that's totally sweet.

 I think I've found another smut heroine writer for me. Yay!

READ AN EXCERPT

I roam in front of her, keeping my distance. For now. “I wouldn’t think you had much concern for privacy. Especially since I’ve caught you sitting in your car outside of my house late at night. What were you doing there?”

When her mouth falls open, I almost throw myself on her. That mouth. It will be my undoing, especially if she keeps opening it like that, parting it, gasping. Soon I’ll be drawing moans and screams from it, my obsession with it only growing.
