As your best friend, I’ve reached my limit, and I can honestly say that he doesn’t deserve you.

I’m not saying all of this because I’m f-cking jealous, or because he had the audacity to say that he makes more money than me. (I still can’t find his name on the Forbes 500 list, and I know damn well that he’s renting that Ferrari, but that’s a story for a different day.)

He’s not who you think he is, and the better man has always been right in front of you…

You have every reason to never give me a chance since you know me better than anyone, and you agree with all the tabloids calling me “The Cocky King of New York,” and the “Untamed Playboy of Manhattan.” But I honestly believe that you’re better off with someone else, and I need you to see.

I’m not asking for too much…I just want you to break up with him, for me.

 

~MY OPINION~

Riveting, as always. This enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance is quite the rollercoaster. From the hilarious dialogues to the insane relationship between the main characters, this story grabbed me and never let go.

Hayden and Penelope share shameless interactions where they spit their thoughts about each other in verbal quarrels that made me laugh and shake my head in disbelief. Despite their enmity, they strike a bargain where he doles out much-needed advice on how to date men and she gives him insight on how to fix his dating app. Throughout the years, this bold friendship becomes an anchor, a foundation, for both of them. It's somehow strange to see her dating so many men while Hayden is supposed to be the main character, but it all pans out in the end. Chapters from the past are interspersed with the present, so a lot of things make sense as new experiences between them pop up and add real meaning to their relationship. 

I laughed really hard at least three times. I loved their growing chemistry and the sharp edge that always marks what obviously is a deep trust and longing for each other. I think her career is really interesting, and though she desperately seeks love all over the place, her leaning on him for everything and him responding to everything and beyond is utterly moving. Passion makes a hot appearance towards the last part and higher emotions mix with some crazy things happening in Hayden's life. That part also makes sense thanks to a chapter that goes back to the past. I really like that non-linear pattern of the plot. I think it's a very entertaining romance with lots of wit and a good happy ending.

Prepare to be HITCHED

Hi, book buddies :-) One thing I have come to crave is romcom. It just makes me so happy. I recommend this book because it will just make you laugh and swoon.

MY OPINION

I can always count on this duo for a perfect rom-com. 

This couple is no exception. I was really looking forward to this story because the characters were always bickering and she has a penchant for electronics to go mashed potato around her. And she has a farm to care for animals! I could not deprive myself from enjoying this funny tale. And I loved every scene and dialogue! 

I wasn't expecting the baggage they are both carrying and how it impacts their relationship. It adds so much bittersweet meaning to how they are together. Now, Blake and Hope are married for nurturing purposes only, to save an alpaca from breeding slavery!

The fun is everywhere from his secret plans to win her over to all sorts of animals rampaging around in all their innocent, destructive glory. 

The bingo night is priceless, the conspiracy to keep the animals safe is just pure magic of wit, and the chemistry between these lovable characters is the envy of bunnies. Hot!

Hope is starving for love but dealing with trust issues. It made me want to hug her as much as live with her in that amazing animal shelter she runs. And Blake is so trustworthy and hot and good. I fell in love with him!

So a mission to believe in the future mixes with rescue animals, hilarious dialogues, and side characters that feel alive and adorable. The cute couple faces a surprising danger at the end when they have to fight in film-like style for all the things they love. I absolutely loved the insane fun and the cuteness of their actions. The epilogue is one laugh after another in the middle of neighbourly support and quirkiness. This series is the best!

Right now I wanted to just be here in silence with my best friend. And somehow, I don’t know how, but Luna sensed it. So we sat there for what felt like two hours but was probably a lot less, until I opened my eyes again. Her eyes were closed, too. I watched her for a while.
