MY OPINION

Erotic horror has never been my favourite genre, but these two authors know what they'er doing. Wow. 

Despite the horrendous circumstances, the bloody outcome of the characters' choices and the psychotic pressure of their captors all around them, Noah and Ivy manage to trust each other, even find that elusive love they've been hiding. 

Every chapter pulses with fear and feral instincts as Noah tries to defy their captors and protect Ivy. They are submitted to humiliation and obedience, somehow bonding more than ever. Desire is their worst enemy. Maybe due to the stark situation, the need for each other is enhanced because the sensuality that these pages ooze is painfully intense. 

i loved their resistance until they couldn't stop themselves any more and caved in. Their passion is pure fire! The writing transmits the forbidden, sinful nature of pleasure in the middle of torment. 

This serial is lust and panic, eroticism and horror. Superb.

My opinion

Like a deep well of darkness, you never know what's going on inside this story. Lust and horror mingle in it in growing intensity.

From the aching eroticism to the bloody depravity, Taken grabs the reader and pulls them into a rabbit hole of madness.

The first scene shows a scared woman and concerned man slowly realizing they've kidnapped and prepared for a private party of puppet sex and threatening commands. I liked the narrative as it pulses with emotion, raw energy and twisted sensuality. It's actually a first part of a longer story. Noah and Ivy are forced to perform for an anonymous captor, and they suffer from the shame of enjoying their forbidden touch. I can say that I enjoyed the uneasy atmosphere and the intimacy between these friends who can't deny their chemistry, but there are some gory moments I could have lived without :-D

Now, I'm really impatient to find out what kind of punishment awaits this couple in distress.

Sweat beads at my brow as the breath whooshes out of me.  I’m bent over, arms dangling down. Beneath me, the most delicious, hardest length I’ve ever felt presses into my mound. I want to rock against it.
