MY OPINION

This is one stormy love story. The final third part is within our grasp at last, book buddies :-) Rejoice! Demi and Dorian are on the brink of disaster, struggling with their possessiveness over each other but also battling enemies bent on destroying them. It was hard to see them deep in anguish and despair. However, the hotness episodes are epic and mind-blowing. Against walls, in an alley... you name it. 

Dorian is facing his reckoning as his past comes to haunt him in the shape of vindictive women and shameful debauchery. Demi, on her part, tries to cope, but the poor thing has a hard time accepting her older lover's free ways. The theme here is redemption and trust. 

I still find this author's rich and vivid writing style very appealing. The characters have their chance to each tell their point of view as the book is divided into two parts. It complements the other two books very nicely.

Another thing I liked is that friends of the main characters are going through their own romantic drama and it's fun to follow their heartbreaks and desires on the side. 

I think this finale is full of blazing-hot passion, a man who proves his commitment and a woman who forgives him after showing her own backbone, planning her clever victory and dreaming of a future with all the perks. It was worth the wait!

MY OPINION

Erotic horror has never been my favourite genre, but these two authors know what they'er doing. Wow. 

Despite the horrendous circumstances, the bloody outcome of the characters' choices and the psychotic pressure of their captors all around them, Noah and Ivy manage to trust each other, even find that elusive love they've been hiding. 

Every chapter pulses with fear and feral instincts as Noah tries to defy their captors and protect Ivy. They are submitted to humiliation and obedience, somehow bonding more than ever. Desire is their worst enemy. Maybe due to the stark situation, the need for each other is enhanced because the sensuality that these pages ooze is painfully intense. 

i loved their resistance until they couldn't stop themselves any more and caved in. Their passion is pure fire! The writing transmits the forbidden, sinful nature of pleasure in the middle of torment. 

This serial is lust and panic, eroticism and horror. Superb.
