MY OPINION 

Revenge is caustic. And this couple, Michael and Meredith, hired killer and less-than-saint victim, hit the roof and blast through it in their passion and retribution. 

The final part in this serial pays off on all the gritty, hateful, suspenseful promises. I had to believe that Michael wouldn't punish Meredith with his cruel indifference forever. 

At first, the separation is excruciating. They are both dealing with their present lives and it's not really working for either of them. I loved it as they crash together again in the middle of a bloody danger and with lethal skills in action. Meredith never gives up and Michael has never met anyone like her. They share some truths which rattle them. And I really enjoyed a glimpse into the past as an important recollection of their happy times is narrated.

Is there reconciliation? You bet there is, but in dark-alley style with hard words, steamy claiming and ugly plans.

Everything and more that I was hoping for happens in this conclusion. Unbridled passion, machiavelian vengeance, and a lifestyle that would bring a smile to Corleone's face. Completely satisfied. 

Though I am a little puzzled with twin brother Trevor and his own story. Isn't all that a bit unfinished?

I don't have much time to reveal all the details, but I will say this: The "Woman disappears after wedding" and "Woman flees after honeymoon" headlines are lying.

I'm not missing.

I would've never run away right after our amazing honeymoon.

My husband has taken me.

No, correction: He's kidnapped me because he claims that "its what's best." That I'm a mere pawn in his twisted game of chess.

Despite the fact that my heart is still tethered to his, or the fact that he's still the most gorgeous and beautiful man I've ever met in my life (he can still make me wet with a single sentence), I have to focus on getting away from him.

I have to accept that he's no longer the man I fell in love with.

Hi, book buddies :-) How are you doing? I hope you are ready for some sensual suspense. Remember DIRTY RICH SECRETS, by Lisa Renee Jones? The third novella is out and the whole serial is ready to be devoured 😃

MY OPINION

Explosive finale to this serial in 3 parts. I enjoyed it thoroughly because of the fast pace, the desperate passion and the looming dangers. 

Aaron and Ashley are caught between the consequences of his mortal past endeavours and the final throes of their distrust. It's a thrilling path to love conquers all, I tell you 😄

From running for their lives to gun training, male competitiveness and Walker Security men in all their expert glory, the plot runs swift with fierce emotional claiming and hot bedroom times. Aaron still fears his way of life is too much for Ashley, but she shows a backbone of steel.

Clearing his name becomes a twisted challenge, but they manage it in a blast of killing efficiency. I must say there is a harsh act involved, but it certainly puts a definitive stop to the gruelling obstacles to this couple's happiness. Could the big bad guy have gone out in more of a boastful way? Perhaps, but I was more invested in the romance winning, so maybe this couple will show up in future novels in this series and we will get to see more of their evolution 😊

MY OPINION

Pure adrenaline. This second part is all about survival, jealousy and reclaiming a broken trust. 

The cliffhanger in the previous novella is a bit tricky, but beyond that we get a strong dose of male testosterone spiced with desperation to protect his woman at all costs. Aaron and Ashley are in the phase of jealousy and distrust while also dealing with a love that pushes their limits. They have to convince each other that there's nothing that will destroy their bond. It is intense and dangerous. I loved the tension, the maneuvers, the espionage, and the involvement of the Walker Security men.

The stubborn push and pull between the characters was unbearable when I wanted them to just love each other, but it prompted some very loyal and romantic declarations. Towards the end, there's a big surprise and some thrilling action that once again left me breathless with want for the final installment.
