MY OPINION OF THE SCENE

This is the kind of story that dominates the mind and the body at the same time. The plot is gripping and urges you on through the suspenseful investigation as the connection between the main characters gets more intense and hotter by the minute.

On the one hand, there is a female lead, Nicole who's determined to find out the truth surrounding her brother's seedy death. She's smart, gorgeous, and takes risks that put her inside the dark circles in Miami's night life.

On the other hand, Xavier is a force to be reckoned with that is staying at a hotel she works at. The heat between them permeates their good-natured encounters until it explodes in a wave that left me breathless.

By what little I've read by author Roxy Sloane, I was really excited to get my hands on this new story.  It's a heady mixture of suspense, crime, sunny setting and insanely arousing sexy times. Miami is another main ingredient in this exciting concoction with its endless beaches, luxurious lifestyle and beautiful people.

Nicole is the perfect heroine who jumps on board danger with smart courage, only to find herself entangled in a web of deceit and consuming passion.

With that yell-to-the-top-of-your-lungs cliffhanger, I just have to brace myself for part 2, which can't come out soon enough!
