Book buddies, I can honestly say that I've had an incredible time reading this serial. If you are into hot suspense novellas, this is right up your alley and more.

My opinion of part 4

What a rollercoaster! All this series has been spectacular, never disappointing in dynamic writing style, interesting plot or fantastic steamy scenes.

This final part is brimming with action from the start. I loved the feel of danger, the tension that crackles in every corner. A very grave matter pushes Dax to the limits of violence he has fought hard to put behind him, but he's hell-bent on protecting his loved ones, and that includes feisty, determined Zoe.

Through a brick of unknown threats, they pursue the truth together. I enjoyed how their relationship deepens, adding more meaning to their attraction with admiration and lasting feelings. That's why when a dramatic twiste tears them apart again, it felt so devastating and unfair.

I loved it! You know readers are a wicked bunch of masochists, right? ;o)

And when all is dark and twisted for the couple, there are some pretty good ideas thrown in to brace and solve the conflict. 

This series wraps up wonderfully with all the suspense, secrets and consuming passion that we could crave. One of the best serials I've read so far. I'm a bit sad it's come to an end, though I'm sure the writer has more surprises up her sleeve. Can't wait to find out!

Hooked to Exposé 3 + giveaway

Book buddies, I hope you're not missing on this serial. I'm becoming obsessed with it ;o) Come on, hop on THE EXPOSÉ, by Roxy Sloane, you won't regret it, I promise.

So intense! This serial gets better and better with each installment. I lvoe it when that happens.

Dax is furious at Zoe's betrayal. I could feel his hot anger pouring out him in all his words, actions and frustration. The author's writing style is fast-paced and emotional which gives the characters a strong edge. Dax is surrounded by increasing threats while he has to battle his unwanted, but undeniable emotions towards Zoe.

There is mounting tension throughout the story that's due to all the different angles playing out. Zoe is torn between her duty to her dreams and her sudden loyalty to this alluring man who shows an unexpected side to him as honourable and responsible. 

The story is perfectly balanced in plot, suspense and scorching hot intimacy. Every scene is full of strong emotions, criminal endeavours, a man against the ropes to keep out of a dark life, and a stubborn woman who will go all the way to uncover the trust and, in the process, have the most arousing encounters with him. I was proud of Zoe and her decisions even when they cost her dearly. Did I mention the sheer deluge of incredible steamy times? Oh, baby.

And, wow, that cliffhanger is a hell of a punch in the gut. Part 4 is like air to me now! I need it.

Yay! Book buddies, my serial addiction is in good luck these days. Look what I read and reviewed for you today ;o)

My opinion of part 2

An energizing first chapter put me back into perspective of this ambitious would-be journalist who's intent on uncovering seedy deals in the most exclusive club in the city. The plot is getting more gripping.  Dax is surrounded by pressing problems that go from dark mentors to secret stalkers.

In the meantime, Zoe / Kate keeps investigating the club, but runs into corners she has to save herself from with an inventive imagination and a lot of forbidden encounters with her commanding boss.

Wow, those scenes together really burn to the touch. I loved their steamy, angry clashes. Even though a first time under a crop should feel a bit more painful and overwhelming than what Zoe shows, that was a quite a moment! I'm hot and bothered with this couple's dynamics that range from power-play to challenging to keenly arousing.

It was interesting to read about Dax's background, how he came to be the successful man he is now. Suspicious of Kate, he's still taken by her sassy attitude and sweet sensuality.

Both the suspense plot and the growing relationship are interesting. I was very curious about the threats that lurk in the shadows of Dax's life. Though I have to admit that the lying journalist getting tangled up in hot encounters with the man she's trying to expose is a lot of fun. The final scene is scorching hot, and left me all excited, and a little worried, about what's coming next. Pleasure and pain are waiting for Zoe, and I need to witness it all right away!

I'm hooked on The Exposé + giveaway

As an irredeemable serial lover that I am, I couldn't say no to these novellas. THE EXPOSÉ, by Roxy Sloane, is divided into four parts, and I've just had a lick of part one. I'm on happy mode now.

MY OPINION

I loved this little game of cat and mouse. It's sexy, naughty, and all the way perfect for a curious mind with not much time at hand.

For a little while, I was lost in the lively writing style of the author as she maneuvered my imagination into an exclusive club that caters to the secret whims of the rich and famous on the dark side of lust. In Zoe's skin, I entered the elusive world of fantasy and pleasure as a journalist in disguise who plans to expose a big story to land a job.

When she encounters Dax, however, she's in for a brooding, tough, suspicious, and totally dominating surprise. I loved how well planned all the scenes are, from Zoe's background and reasons to dare this kind of scandalous and dangerous plan, to her first night on the job.

Dax is menacing, but I'm all eager to find out his mystery which he guards behind tight security, a stark demeanor and weird telephone calls. I wasn't expecting his hot, hot interrogation of Zoe which turned out to be really entertaining and arousing.

Now, I'm clearly hooked to his adventure into the dark corners of fetish clubs and soon-to-be journalists with more bravado than care. Part 2, here I come!
