MY OPINION
What a
satisfying story! With a touch of the forbidden, it grows into a really
romantic love story that also packs a good dose of drama and heat.
The author sets a brisk pace thanks to short
chapters in alternating POVs. The stepsiblings reunite after six years for a friend's
wedding. I liked every scene as they were written with variety and humour, yet
they also reflected a couple that had suffered after a cruel separation.
I wasn't expecting
the reason to be so dramatic. I loved how determined Flynn was to get his woman
back. The steamy scenes didn't do any harm either.
A really
lovely, hot, bittersweet romance that helped me discover an author new to me. I
recommend it!
