MY OPINION OF MAY
I await every
monthly story with gleeful anticipation. May is as sexy, fun and original was
its predecessors.
Coming back
home, Mia Saunders meets with her sister and BFF in a warm welcome, though not
devoid of big surprises. I liked the
fact that life is changing for Mia and her sister. It really adds a good sense
of progression in the story.
And the she's
off to Hawaii.
Wow!
Meet Tai, a
Samoan god with a glorious tattooed body and sensual manners that bring Mia,
and this reader, to tears of joy. That man is a tropical storm even when giving
a single kiss. Imagine what comes later...
Apart from
those toe-curling steamy scenes, Mia's time in Hawaii is really interesting.
While she's modeling for a plus-size campaign, she gets to learn a lot about
the island, the Samoan culture and history, and even the beautiful, comprehensive
symbolism of tattoos. I really enjoyed
all that immensely. She's also on the path of letting go of her little sister
and she matures and takes responsibility of her own future. That part was
bittersweet.
I had a lot
of fun reading this installment with all the Hawaiian wonders, the true
feelings, and that delightful conclusion to Tai's story.
And next in
line it's politics in June. Here I come!
