MY OPINION

This bunch of insta-love stories is deliciously naughty.

How can anyone resist a hot cop intent on arresting a young beauty and cuffing her to his bed? Tough question, I know, but in fiction land this becomes top fantasy material. The first story is about a young woman out celebrating her college graduation when she inadvertedly breaks the law in a very minor way and this big SWAT hero takes her away to ravish her all night. It's so sinful and sweet at the same time because he preys on her body in delicious ways yet also process es his love and protection. I liked the scene with the sister near the end, very funny. And both epilogues which are warm and fuzzy and terribly steamy. 

Now, the second novella is much sweeter, and it's related to the previous one because it's about her sister and one of his friends, a firefighter. And it is smoking hot!

I loved this one as the couple shares a very heroic rescue, some sugary declarations of love and two absolutely adorable epilogues filled with family warmth. The second epilogue is actually hilarious and I laughed a lot over children and doughnuts. 

The firefighter falls head over heels in love at first sight and will stop at nothing to get his woman. When he finds her, he goes in like a knight in shining armor. Hot steamy times aplenty! 

I love how all three novellas are connected. The last one is more developed as the characters talk and share things before they jump in the flesh fest. It's cute and sweet. He is a paramedic we meet in the previous story and she is a friend of the girl there too.

He is a gentleman, very caring, and she lets herself be loved by him. This novella might be my favourite because Tyler is so tender towards his girlfriend. He's very supportive in all ways and helps her with her nursing degree. That is so endaring, and he's always like this well into the two lovely epilogues. Sweet, fun, hot. Perfect! 😉

Hi, book buddies :-) I'm sure you are eager to grab this smut and very romantic story. I enjoyed the pretty romance in GAGE, so I had to have a bite of another hunk like this one :-D

MY OPINION

Another pretty and deeply romantic insta-love story by a duo I've come to anticipate with glee.

The silver-tongued successful man gets besotted when he meets the beauty on the red carpet. I loved the scenario with the Oscar awards and all the celebrities parading around. The best though is how he romances her with honourable intentions, very sweet intimacy and all the restrain he can master until he caves and loves her thoroughly. Hot!

The dates they have are thoughtful, delightful really. I envied them, haha. Paradise has its snake, of course, so a little bump in the road is quite literally their downfall before they find each other again.

Even though all happens quickly, it feels real and intense because Allie and Vaughn spend so much time together. They go on wonderful dates, they text and call, they make plans together. The double POV is perfect to understand their feelings, and to know their daily lives and jobs. 

The reason behind the hiccup in their relationship is quite entertaining, twisted and thrilling. I loved it as much as the epilogues and the very romantic happily ever after. The pregnancy that is mentioned in the synopsis, though, doesn’t take as much room in the story as I'd thoped. However, I enjoyed the whole book a lot, so I'm looking forward to the next story, Dane!

The other hottie is so good!

I love the Hollywood setting, and this series got me excited since the title was revealed. I confess the cover just does wonders to my heart 😄

It's so easy to enjoy this story. Mainly because it's so romantic from start to finish, and the Hollywood stardom vibe is a delicious atmosphere for a lightning-fast romance. 

The first chapters are dreamy with all the red carpet glamour, the celebritities and the touching awards ceremony. A funny meet-cute that doesn’t really make it to the face-to-face part is the prelude to an insta-love story of epic film proportions. 

Gage is famous for many things, including a phobia to serious dating. That's why his obsessive crush on a rising star, Morgan, takes the world by surprise. I had a great time with the whole story. He lavishes her with breathtaking sessions of kisses and pampers her with incredible dates filled with food, sweet gestures and rapt attention.

Being as famous as they are, it's a rollercoaster of media attention when their relationship splashes everywhere on the news. I loved the sophistication of the Oscars ceremony and every detail surrounding it. 

The ugly face of fame and success makes an appearance too, but Gage is so protective and in control that nothing bad can really happen. This confirmed bachelor shows his most romantic and committed side at the very sweet ending to this whirlwind romance. I really liked the mix of paparazzi frenzy, Hollywood glamour and forever love. The epilogues are just two cherries on top! 😀

Baby Daddies are so hot!

Hi, book buddies :-) I've been waiting for a new release from Fiona Davenport with so much excitement. And here it is... in triplicate! :-D

MY OPINION OF BABY DADDIES

What a sweet, steamy treat from these authors: 3 stories in a row, and all about love and babies! Just the cover had me all over myself to read the stories and none of them have disappointed me. Heart-meltingly romantic insta-love as I wanted. And they are all linked, isn't that great? :-D

The first one has serendipity, plans turned into old-fashioned spontaneity, a doctor overcome with caveman instincts to possess his woman, and a couple who banters and has fun in between and during their very numerous passionate encounters. Lovely!

Hot and playful is the story of two neighbours hitting it off in the next tale. What's omre, Melody appears in the first novella and now is the main character in her own fairytale of insanely steamy intimacy with a determined neighbour who has his eyes on her and a future together. Besides the steamy times, I really enjoyed the plot as they fall in love, dream of babies and then fate intervenes with a ton of drama that almost breaks their hearts. Fortunately, love prevails.

I loved the way she answers a very important question and also the epilogue with all the girls gossiping about their possesive husbands.

The last one features a very demanding boss whose good looks match his insistence on dating his assistant even though she fears the consequences of being intimate with her boss. 

I liked his patience, his confidence in them being together in the end, and also how the snippets that had come up in the previous novellas were woven into the whole relationship's evolution.

The dynamics were fun up until the hysterial ending where one doctor is proud as a peacock of his prowess but also freaked out at the dangers of fatherhood ahead. It was also interesting to learn about a few things that might happen in certain pregnancies. Very realistic in that part, and a nice counterpart to all the exciting baby-making goodness :-D

I opened my office door with my head down, still reading through my next patient’s chart.

“Ethan?”

My head flew up at the sound of the familiar voice and my eyes locked with gorgeous brown ones that I’d seen filled with hunger and fire the night before. Madison stared at me, open-mouthed, and her cheeks flushed.  

My first reaction was pleasure at seeing her again, but then I remembered why I’d been acting like an asshole all day. Irritation quickly spread through my body. Then…I remembered what I do for a living and why Madison would be waiting for me in my office.

Oh, fuck no.

Over my dead fucking body.

My hands clenched, crumpling the sides of the folder I was holding. The sound broke through Madison’s frozen shock and drew her attention. When she raised her head to look at my face again, I narrowed my eyes and her blush deepened.

I knew the situation needed to be handled carefully, so I swallowed my rage at the thought of Madison carrying another man’s baby and strolled around my desk. I took a seat and placed her file open in front of me.

Raising a single brow, I trained my penetrating gaze on her face and calmly asked, “How can I help you, Ms. Carlyle?”

Confusion floated across her face and she fiddled with a lock of her midnight hair as her head canted to the side, making the tiny stud in her nose twinkle. “Um…I want to get pregnant,” she mumbled quietly.

I leaned back in my chair and crossed my arms. “You want me to get you pregnant,” I deadpanned.

Madison looked momentarily stunned and stared at me with her mouth slightly open. Then she shook her head and annoyance flickered in her expression before she cleared it. “I suppose that’s one way to look at it.”

I grinned and shuffled through the papers in front of me until I found the one I wanted. “Let’s see. Gynecological history.” I glanced up at Madison who was shifting uncomfortably in her chair.

I read on. “No history of STD. Well, that’s a relief.” I looked up and winked. “I’ve got a clean bill of health too, in case you were wondering.” Her cheeks pinkened but she didn’t say anything. I scanned down until I found the section I was looking for. “Ah, sexual history. Hmmm, this section is mostly blank.” I gave her an admonishing shake of my head. “Why don’t we go over that part now?”

Madison’s face was now beet red and she was twisting her hands nervously in her lap. I wasn’t in the least bit repentant that I was making her squirm. We both knew what was coming.

“Use of lubricants”—I smirked at her and winked again. Then bent over the form and scribbled as I spoke—“I’ll just put ‘unnecessary’.”

Madison rolled her eyes.

“Is your sex drive normal or depressed?” I tapped my chin with my index finger as I pretended to ponder the question. “The answer can change depending on the partner,” I explained. “So, I’ll just write down, extremely eager, according to her most recent lover.”

Madison scoffed, and I pinned her with a hard look, daring her to disagree. We both knew she’d wanted it as much as I had. After a moment, she sighed and gave me a tiny nod.

“History of sexual partners.” I cocked my head to the side and studied her as I asked, “How many notches are on your bed post, Ms. Carlyle?” I frowned, unsure if I really wanted to know the answer. The urge to hunt down every last one was strong. I wanted to beat them until they couldn’t remember what she looked like, or even her name.

She returned my intense stare. “How many are on yours?” she retorted.

“I’m not the one we’re discussing, Madison.” I tapped the paper in front of me. “Every patient has to complete the questionnaire.”
