Scorching-hot and sweet!

This second part of the series of novellas is engrossing because it takes the characters seriously while the intimate lessons take place with highly detailed care.

Both Jack and Danielle are charming and nice. I loved his chapters because it shows how deeply he's falling for her despite the temporary state of their relationship. After all, it's only two weeks of lessons in bed before they go their separate ways. However, his inner musings show a troubled man who is worried about his knee injury, how women see him as a means to his wealth and fame, and his future. He is also extremely patient and caring towards Danielle's first experiences at his skilled hands. Not to mention how hot the lessons are! 

They proceed with new, deeper steps in the lessons and believe me, the level of detail and satisfaction is up in the heavens ;o) I also liked Danielle's independence and her sweet nature, how she cares for him. I'm very fond of this story so I look forward to reading the final part.

MY OPINION

This is a delicious story that I'm so happy I came across. Anyone will gobble it up with glee if you happen to like naughty plots, a shy, inexperienced heroine with a problem and a hot, ready-to-please gentleman of a hero.

First of all, the premise is so much fun. A job requires Danielle to give counsel and therapy on the subject of sex, but of course her hard life and studies have prevented her from achieving  the necessary hands-on experience required to back it up. The author comes up with an exciting way to provide it to her by the means of a gorgeous player who's in the right place in his life to be available to the sweet heroine.

I really enjoyed their first and awkward but sensual approach to intimacy. Best of all is his reaction to the truth, both about the job and her personal circumstances. He rises up to the task in more ways than one. He takes it seriously and lavishes this bookworm of a girl with a sweet, dirty-mouthed seduction that I'm dying to know how it escalates.

This first part of a 3-part serial is well written, arousing and fun. What else do we need? Exactly, more :-D

Oh, poor Ryder, he's so sexy and unencumbered that he does as he pleases. And what he does most of the time is please himself with women and not playing by the rules.

The press crucifies him when he has an accident hours before the final match in France. With all the time in the world to ponder his choices, he comes across a fan letter that changes everything.

What a refreshing story! I loved how Ryder meets those people who are going to change his view on things, including himself. It's so original and funny. It gets really sweet when he starts developing this kind of long-distance banter-slash-game over the phone with a very special someone.

Then something that was born out of boredom turns into a selfless and beautiful situation that surprised me a lot. Also, it ends with a spicy and bittersweet note that is the perfect setting for the next episode. Nice!
