I was eager to continue the delicate love story among Katrina, Tristan and Adam. Why? Because it's hot, messy, sensitive and beautiful. I wanted to know if Kat was ever going to overcome her fears, stand up to her mother. I wanted to know if the two men in her life were going to fight for her, if they would deserve her sacrifice and evolution.

Family matters are putting an insanely amount of pressure on Adam's shoulders. That means the anxiety is splashing all over Tristan and their relationship with Kat. Their unique brand of love is in peril. I really liked the exciting uncertainty that came from their frustration of wanting to be together when it was impossible due to Adam's guilt over his family's problems.

Risk of losing what you want most makes getting it all the more sweeter.

Despite the tension and the doubts, it all comes together perfectly. Criminal liaisons, controlling mothers, guilt, it all fades as they give in to love and lust. I loved the ending: sweet and hot as a chocolate brownie.

MY OPINION OF INDECENT AFFAIR, PART 4.

It's so easy to fall into the trap of turning a threesome into an excuse for cheap sex. Not with this author. The relationship between a woman and two men is addressed beautifully. She delves into the characters' psyche leaving room for both their desires and their insecurities as they profoundly affect the outcome of each of their encounters.

If you're looking for amazingly hot intimacy, you'll find it. If you're also looking for real people who need to connect, to feel safe and wanted and needed, you'll find all that too. The author weaves very nicely the delicate balance between lust ans trust that's so inherent to relationships among three partners.

"Naked and between us". That's an awesome way to start this wonderful fourth episode. As their relationship progresses, Kat learns new things about her two gorgeous men. They tell her about their dangerous job that will test her emotional resilience sooner than she thinks. However, she's growing stronger as she faces tough decisions in her life, secrets about her family, and a shadow that threatens the beauty of her sizzling love affair.

I love Tristan and Adam. Strong, good men, with a dangerous lifestyle that they care to explain to Kat. They're interesting and sexy, and Kat is falling in love with them. A very sweet process to watch.

Although it's not all bliss in 3-way paradise as Adam's family unloads some pressure on him. The Olesky family, Russian mob. Wow. That's a background to be wary of. And there's a man in that awe-inspiring bunch called Max that the author just lets us have a glimpse of. It occurred to me that she might be laying the foundation for a new story? Cool.

Anyway, the whole situation builds to a crescendo until it leaves us panting with drama at the cliffhanger. I really hope the next installment arrives quickly. I can't get enough of this Indecent Affair!

  How did you come up with the idea for this story? 

 The Indecent series started two years ago, when I was asked to be in an anthology and needed to come up with a story in the space of a couple of days. The plot for An Indecent Proposition came to me after staring at a blank page and thinking, “What the hell am I going to write?” I wanted it to be a ménage, because I love writing ménage, and then I started to riff on the Beauty and the Beast story. For An Indecent Affair, I had already set up Kat’s backstory and knew she would need two strong men to help her become the woman she needed to be.

  Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

Love should be the motivating factor in everything you do. I totally believe the world would be a better place for it.

  What books have influenced your life most? 

 My own books? Seduced by Magic set me on my erotic romance career so that one’s obvious. The book that made me want to be a writer? Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House series. Totally set me on the path. The book that made me want to write romance? Anything by Kathleen Woodiwiss. I’ve been reading her since sixth grade and she totally shaped my sensibilities as a reader. The book that kick-started my personal journey to publication? Possibly Ann Rice’s Interview with A Vampire. I remember reading that book and thinking this is what I want to do. I want to write. I was in high school.

In sixth grade, I found my mother's stash of romance novels hidden under her bed and realized they were much more interesting than the books in the school library. An Indecent Affair: a serial to fall for

When I came up with the idea of this special stamp for the books that I really fall in love with, I imagined I wouldn't be using it too often. That has been the case because in fact I've only stamped a trilogy and one book so far. Until today. Here I am again just relishing the concept, the writing and the craving for this story.

Do you love serials? I do, a lot! And I've just discovered a new one that I'd like to tell you about, book buddies :o)

Beautifully sensual, seductively written.

I really enjoyed how the author built the situations and portrayed the characters. After just a few pages, I felt drawn into the dynamics of the blooming relationship.

Two men and a woman? That can't be easy. Interesting? Sure.

I wanted to know more about the two hot men, Adam and Tristan, and why the heroine was suffering from panic attacks. Though I can't blame her if it had anything to do with those two intense male specimens...

Both Tristan and Adam were very understanding and helpful, that's why I was all in favour of them getting their lust's desire even so soon. Yes, we all want some early action but sometimes these things seem to be rushed. Despite the fact that Kat leaves a high society event with the intention of bedding two (extremely hot) men, one she knows and the other a stranger, all of them act according to their personality, their fears and desires, their reasons for being there and then.

One of the things I appreciated a lot was that I felt I knew the characters really well. I came out of each part of this serial (what I've read so far, three glorious parts) knowing their assets and their weaknesses.

The writing was pulsing with beautiful sensuality, but the story itself felt also real, sweet and sensitive, so it won double points in my score.

Adam and Tristan

I like strong men. They are perfectly in tune with each other, loyal and steady. They work as a team in and out of work. A dangerous job, but they don't do it for fun or show arrogance. I loved how well they know each other, how synchronized they are in their pursue of Kat. Not as predators, but as well-trained experts who care for her needs and seduce her in the most gentlemanly and scorching hot way.

They have a plan

Kat doesn't know it and a lot of the fun is in that fact. They approach her with a strategy to win her over. There are many things I found out about the characters which made me like them and take an interest. I bet there a lot more exciting things to come too.

Their first time together is gorgeous

I'm so thrilled when I discover an author that really does magic with words. She mentions that she likes writing heat with heart. I think she totally nailed it!

Kat is cutting her ties in Boston which means breaking up with her mother's hold over her, and quitting a stifling job. I admire her boldness even more so because it's still tinged with fear and longing for a broken freedom. In Philadelphia, Tristan is happy to plan a strategy to get closer to her. Adam, on the other hand, is far from sure she's the right one for his best friend.

OMG. That might sound plain typical but I'm just quaking after this episode!

The second encounter is deeply emotional, courageous, intensely erotic, and beautifully written.

I loved every word. Kat breaks all boundaries and is rewarded with two fiercely provocative men who indulge all her pleasures.

I felt real pain when Adam sabotages their lovemaking and their budding connection cracks before it's fully formed. Though Kat was also to blame, she's in such a vulnerable moment I understand her completely. This is all so new for her, being with two men, imagine that.

I was so absorbed by the alluring narrative that I didn't want to wait a second before jumping into the third installement.

After the big gap separating them, they all struggle with their personal turmoil. Kat is riddled with guilt at having snapped at her two lovers, making them feel bad about their choice of relationship. Tristan is so pissed off because he's afraid he will lose his dream woman, but Adam can't let go of his inner demons.

I felt really invested in all of the characters' doubts. I understand how difficult it must be for them to put their hearts on the line, to risk their emotions and their faith when the can end up crushed.

Him or him?

I like Tristan's assertiveness, his absolute unwavering belief in what they can be together. Honestly, I fell for Adam. After all, he's suffering, he's doubting himself, he's the one who feels insecure and needs real, bullet-proof love. I have a weakness for tormented men who desire too much and have to conceal it.

I can unflinchingly say that I've fallen head over heels in love with this author's writing style. The eroticism was burning through the pages, though it went beyond that. The characters are alive, they have feelings they have to contend with. And the threesome was more than just bodies. It was three people connecting and making it work without jealousy.

My only complaint? That ending. Where's part 4? Please?

Book buddies, I'm reading this serial, and let me be serious about it. It's seriously hot! I know, I've abused my English ;o) Sorry! But I'm not sorry about telling you about this story. It's beautiful, sensual and so worth my reading time.

Adam’s masterful kiss made her feel as if she was drowning in lust. His lips moved over hers with a purpose that had her pressing closer, rubbing against him.

Tilting her pelvis into his, she tried to get closer, her body moving instinctively. The hard ridge of his erection nudging against her clit made her moan. Made her want more. Harder. Faster.

How did he do it? How did he turn her into this crazy, impossibly horny person she didn’t recognize?

Simply by kissing her?

She returned his fast-building intensity with her own, her hands working under his shirt until she felt warm skin. Flattening her hands on his back, she pressed him closer, moaning when he settled his hand on her ass and ground his cock against her.

My first attempts at romance were firmly rooted in the Harlequin tradition and I sold my first two romances to Avalon Books under the name Stephanie Scott.

But writing sweet romances was not what I'd had in mind. I wanted to write books where people actually got to have sex. I contracted my first erotic romance to Ellora's Cave and never looked back.
