MY OPINION
A dark theme
for a shocking plot that you never see coming. Wow, this one really blew my
mind. It shouldn't surprise me as much as it comes from the twisted mind of
Clarissa Wild. Yet I wasn't expecting any of this.
Violence,
human slavery and the price of redemption lie in the murky depths of this novel
about a girl sold from one master to another. She discovers many things about
what it means to be a human being, with a free will and desires to be reckoned.
Yet the path
to a new self-awareness is ridden with deceit and horrifying secrets.
From a life
of torture and debasement, the female character is thrown into a phase of
bliss. Knowing the author's antics, of
course, it couldn't last so the devious plot twists start jumping out of nowhere.
I admit to
expecting a different scenario, though what I lost in that way I definitely
gained in the anticipation of the unknown. Because of it, there were mysterious
outcomes and a secretive atmosphere all along. The steamy scenes arose from
unexpected sources, and they are intense to say the least.
The Ultimate
Sin is another turn of the screw in several books that are connected by a
nefarious company and the deadly men who work there. It's really interesting to
see the progress. This story comes armed with a very detailed closure for the
three main characters involved, and an epilogue that opens up another exciting thread.
I enjoyed the plot with its many layers, the childlike characters that grow to
become free and whole, and the dark man who's Master to it all.
