Story 1: Mary & Anthony

Mary has belonged to Anthony since the day she was born. They’ve known each other their whole lives, but he won’t touch her until she says, ‘I Do.’
Their parents' story should have been a cautionary tale, but when Mary finally agrees to Anthony’s proposal, they run away to Vegas to tie the knot.
But what do they do when things don’t go according to plan and they find themselves caught between a Russian sniper and his runaway daughter?
Easy! Lock themselves in a hotel room and pop some cherries!

Story 2: Samuel & Nika

Samuel’s twin sister, Mary, is off to Vegas to marry his best friend, Anthony. Samuel’s heading to Sin City with them to give her away, but trouble in the form of a sneaky brunette stops him dead in his tracks.
Nika’s on the run, and she’s found herself backed into a corner. But she’s been trained on how to defend herself, especially against a big beast like Samuel. From the first look, he was finished and had no intention of ever letting her go. You begged for the story of Mary and Anthony, and here it is! The final chapter in the Taking the Fall series closes with two short stories on the children of Carter, Layla, Saint, and Jeanette.
Warning: These stories are just as fierce, just as strong, and just as steamy as the rest of the series. These novellas can be read as standalones but will be enjoyed even more after reading the Taking the Fall series.

 MY OPINION

Every time Alexa Riley writes something new, I squeal. With delight and excitement, as I know there's going to be plenty of sweet smut and alpha males so in love that the heroine just melts into a puddle of bliss.

This pack includes two novellas that are deliciously fun because they follow the romance of other beloved characters' kids all grown up. One, is about Anthony and Mary, who have waited to consummate their relationship until they are properly married. And breaking the news to their parents is freaking them out!

I loved the way their story mingled with a suspense plot that entailed Samuel's own adventure with a special girl. And when they finally tie the knot, it's all about sexy, no-barriers steamy times. Exactly what we were hoping for!

I can honestly say that Nika is one of my favourite characters. Russian chick, dangerous father, a free spirit combined with a longing for true love. And she found it in Vegas! I had a lot of fun when she fought bad-ass style to gain her freedom. But luckily for us, Samuel had more sensual and forever plans for them both. I really liked this novella, it was fun, feisty, and had a beautiful epilogue that brings the Taking the Fall series to a warm, loving conclusion.

And I'm so excited to find out that there are wonderful new titles coming our way from Alexa's pen. I want to read them all!

Chapter 1: Hot, hot!

“Please, Tony, I’ve been patient. I can’t wait anymore,” I beg, trying to pull him closer to me, wanting his warmth against mine. How can we live together and not have sex? He’s going to drive me insane at this rate. He’s got the iron will of a monk. We’ve done everything physical, but Tony has yet to take me fully, no matter how hard I try or beg.
“I told you, princess. When you agree to be my wife I’ll give you the real thing.” He repeats the same line to me I’ve heard thousands of times now. A normal girl’s ego would’ve been crushed by now with all the things I’ve been doing to get him to finally sink deep inside me. If it wasn’t for the fact the he dotes on me every second of every day and has a jealous streak a mile wide I might have become self-conscious by now.
He's slides against my folds, teasing me, and I know what he’s doing. This is what we do every time we have more than thirty seconds alone. He pulls his c*ck out, and I pull my panties to the side and we mimic f*cking. He won’t take my virginity, our virginities, until I agree to be his wife. Damn, if he isn’t tempting my control to crack.
“Tony, it’s my birthday, please,” I whine, but he just shoots me a smirk.
“You forget it’s my birthday, too, princess.” We both turned twenty-one today. I smile back at him, and he keeps sliding against me. I want to cum so bad, and I’m so freaking close, but I know he’s going to win this one. He won’t give in. I can see it in his eyes; he’s sick of waiting and so am I. I’ve been Tony’s since the day I entered this world, and he wants everyone to know it. I don’t blame him because I want everyone to know he’s mine, too.
“I told you I would three years ago!” I huff out, giving him a pout that normally works. But he seems to be holding strong.
“But you wouldn’t let me tell your dad, so it didn’t count. I want you to agree to be my wife, wear my ring, and tell the world. I’m not keeping it secret. I’m not ashamed of you or of us, or afraid of what your parents will think.”
I moan, and I try to grind down harder on him. “I’m not ashamed, I just don’t want my dad thinking we have sex. Can you imagine!?” I throw back at him. I’m my father’s only daughter, and I know he’s going to lose his shit when he finds out how deep Tony and I are really into each other. He lost it when he found out we were going off to the same college together in Denver. Even talked my twin brother, Samuel, into going, too, so he has “eyes” on me. If only he knew Samuel was Team Mary and Anthony.
Hell, Anthony and Samuel are best friends. They own a bail bonds business together. Anthony uses his hacking skills to find them, and Samuel uses his giant muscles to bring them in—traits they inherited from their respective fathers.
He stops his movements and looks down at me with his big blue eyes, which I know he got from his mama, Jeanette.
“Do you love me, princess?” He’s going in for the kill. We’ve been inseparable since we both could walk, our mothers having been best friends.
“You know I do.” I can feel the blush break across my cheeks, warming them.
He leans down, sucking my nipple hard and letting it out with a pop. It makes me moan again, and I try to work my wet p*ssy against him, but he grabs my hips to stop my movements. I let out a sound of frustration, and look up into his eyes.
“You’re going to be my wife, Mary.” He says it with utter certainty in his eyes, and I melt as he looks into mine. I run my finger down his face, feeling the roughness of his day-old shave. Slowly, I nod at him, whispering my, “Yes.”
“Tomorrow, you’re going to put on my ring, and we’re going to tell your parents, aren’t we?”
I slowly nod again, and when he doesn't answer me I whisper, “Yes,” again. I’ll wear his ring, I’m just not sure about telling them yet. Maybe it’s something we should do in person with the whole family there. Thanksgiving is close, and I think if Tony’s family is there they can help get my dad under control. We spend every holiday together, his family and mine. We are our own little makeshift family.
“Good. It’s about goddamn time,” he says before attacking my mouth with his, his tongue pushing into my mouth as he controls the kiss.
“I’m going to make you so f*cking happy, princess.”
“You already do.” I pull him back to me, kissing him again. I don’t know how we got so lucky. To have your soulmate with you from the day you entered this world has to be one of the rarest things. I don’t want anything to ruin this. Our families are so loud and sometimes controlling. There’s a lot of us, with my parents, Carter and Cherry, having four kids and his, parents Jeanette and Saint, having three. Sometimes things just get out of hand, or blown way out of portion, which I’m scared is what will happen.
My dad will lose his shit, Mom will cry both tears of joy and sadness, Tony’s mom, Jeanette, will want to throw a party, and Saint will just lean back and go with it all. I can already see Jeanette and my mom fighting over wedding stuff, and I’ll never get a word in edgewise. This is going to be a mess when it really should be a joyous occasion. We may have always said we were a family, but this marriage would make it true. Our babies would come from both parts of our families and bind us all in blood.
“What if we just run off to Vegas? Got married on our own? Had our special day before our families try to take over?”
“They would kill us. Our moms would be pissed if they didn’t see us get married. We’re both the babies of the family.”
“We can do it again. But this one, the one we can do right now, would be just for you and me. Ours and ours alone.”
“You’re saying you want to marry me right now? Like, pack a bag and drive our asses up to Vegas?”
I nod my head, biting my lips, wondering what he’s thinking.
“F*ck yeah,” he says, jumping off the bed.
“You’re okay with this idea?” I ask, a little shocked by how easy it was.
“Princess, you just told me you’ll marry me right now. I’m f*cking stoked,” he says, turning to look at me, the thick muscles in his back tensing. Dropping the bag he just got out of our closet, he raises an eyebrow. “You’re not changing you mind now, are you? You said it. It’s happening.”
God, I love when he gets all bossy. When it comes to something sweet, it turns me into a pile of goo.
“You just said we could…you know.” I drop my legs a little further apart. His eyes go straight for my p*ssy, and it makes him lick his lips. After a second he closes his eyes tightly and shakes his head.
“Nope. You’re making an honest man out of me before I take your cherry, so up and at it, princess. We got a long drive ahead of us.” He adjusts his c*ck before he gets back to packing, not looking at me again. I know he’s avoiding looking my way because he’ll pounce on me.
Damn. The sooner I get up, the sooner we get on the road and I can get what I want.
Pulling myself from the bed, I start grabbing some clothes, tossing them on the bed before I make my way to the kitchen where my twin brother, Samuel, is standing.
Samuel and I live in a three-bedroom condo together, our parents just don’t know that Tony stays here, too. He leaves his own apartment vacant and has it just for show for when our families randomly pop in and out.
“Happy Birthday, sis,” he says, giving me a hug and lifting me in his arms. No one can tell we’re twins with my brother being twice as big as me. He looks like our father—built like a tank with dark hair, whereas I look like our mother with cherry-red hair and bright eyes.
“Happy birthday to you, too.”
Placing me on my feet, he goes back to eating his breakfast. “We going to do anything for the ‘big two one’ or what?” he asks, taking a giant bite of his bacon sandwich.
“Actually, Tony and I are going to Vegas to get married. Want to come with?”
“Jesus, they are going to kill us. First Tony and I drop out of school, then Tony moves in, now we’re all going to run off to Vegas to get married?”
When he says it like that it seems really bad. The lies just keep piling up. Tony and Samuel dropped out of college two years in, saying it just wasn’t for them. That’s when they started chasing bail bond skips full time. They’d been doing it part time and making really good money doing it. Apparently, they made the perfect team. Samuel can physically track anyone anywhere, something I know from personal experience when he pops up out of nowhere on me sometimes. As for Anthony, he’s good at finding them for Samuel.
“I know, I know. It sounds terrible when you say it like that. We’re going to have to come clean soon enough, and well, I just want this, and you know how everyone would react if Tony and I said we’re getting married. We want to do this with just him and me, but I really want you there, too. Walk me down the aisle, Samuel. It seems right. You came into the world with me, you should give me over to Tony. Dad can walk me down when we do the big wedding you know they’re going to want to do. But this,” I point between us, then nod my head towards my room where Tony is still packing, “this can be special for us. It’s been the three of us forever. Something we’ll always remember.”
“Well damn. When you put it like that, sis, of course I’ll come.”
I smile up at him, a stupid grin plastered across my face, but I can’t help it. I’m just so happy.
“You in?” Tony says, exiting our room with a big bag over his shoulder.
“Wouldn’t miss it for the world,” Samuel says, not looking over at Tony, his eyes still on me.
“No words like ‘Better treat my sister right or I’m going to pound you into the ground?’” I tease.
“Princess, he gave me that talk when he busted me kissing you in the sixth grade. I told him then I was marrying you and would treat you like my king.”
“King?” I laugh, raising my eyebrows at him.
“Yeah, everyone knows you’re the king around here,” Tony says, pulling me into his arms and giving me a soft kiss.
“Isn’t that the f*cking truth,” I hear Samuel mumble from behind us, but I just ignore him. We’ve got a wedding to get to.

ABOUT THE HAPPY WRITER

I'm Alexa Riley! Mom, wife, and business woman by day and smut writer by night. I specialize in the Dirty Date Night reading. I wrote my first book, Owning Her Innocence, because well, I just couldn't find any daddy books to my liking. So I sat down and just started writing, bringing the fantasies I find myself often dancing to in the dark of night to life, one page at a time.
Alexa Riley is my alter ego. I can't let the other soccer moms know what I'm up to or the guys at work for that matter. Little do they know that they've got nothing on my dirty talk.
I'm here to give you a quick fix of filthy dirty smut. Got a few hours to kill? Then I'm what you're looking for.
