Hey, book buddies! Are you keen on mythology fiction?
Here is a trilogy that will tempt the gods themselves!
Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by mythology. So I was instantly drawn to this story. Entertaining, hot and cool, it's right for a short while to disconnect from everyday reality.
Fallen is the third installment in a series of tales that pertain divine inhabitants of Mount Olympus. This time, it's Hermes' turn. He's been banished from his divine home because of Hera's scheming. Without means or a place to stay, he ends up in a house whose occupant comes back unexpectedly after a long absence.
Funny situations, lust and love ensue. Until the powerful gods gather their wits to pit against each other and the new couple is caught in the middle.
The first part is devoted to Hermes and Sara falling in love, then the plot thickens with revelations, dark secrets and evil gods who try to separate them.
My favourite part was at Mount OIympus and also the divine family's dynamics. It was interesting though light.
Sara Daniels needs to change her life, so she sets out to run her late grandmother’s farm. With no man at her side, and deserted by friends who can’t abide her obsession with mythology, it’s the perfect time to escape.
Hermes, favored son of Zeus, has been framed by his hateful stepmother, Hera. Fleeing Olympus with his life, he finds himself in an abandoned farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. It’s the ideal place to hide from Zeus that is until the owner— a woman with long, flaming red hair and the darkest blue eyes he’s ever seen — decides to move in.
Sara’s family has divine secrets that even she’s not privy to. Hermes’ secrets, however, have the power to shatter their lives. And with a god as your farmhand, it’s only a matter of time before those secrets are revealed in all their destructive glory.
But the wild attraction that blazes between these two souls will not be denied…even if the outcome threatens to doom them both.
