Synopsis
I’m so fucking pissed off that she would do this to me.
I really thought we had something, but instead, I’m left feeling like an idiot.
All I want to do is go back home and forget the last few weeks ever happened, but I’m stuck in this stupid country teaching tennis to spoiled rich kids who care less about playing than I do.
All I want to do is forget about her.
But things are never that easy, are they?
MY OPINION OF WILDCARD 2
Our favourite
tennis player and naughty boy Ryan Stevens is so mad that he's fuming. After
that shocking ending in episode 1, he feels humiliated by a dream turned into
nightmare. And it was so fun seeing him so down. Yes, I'm mean. Poor fellow, I
really wanted to cuddle him. At first, Ryan makes a mess of himself, it's
rather sad and hilarious at the same time.
His fury at
the injustice of his situation, though, takes a nasty turn when an exploding
moment with Scarlett makes it impossible for them to see the truth of their
relationship. It was all quite dramatic
and exciting. I liked that turn of events a lot. Very emotional, and hot too,
and then the dangerous element that appeared at the end of episode one starts
to show its ugly head.
Scarlett is
in deep trouble. I felt for her as it's no fault of hers, or so it may seem. It
was so mysterious. While this threat from the past in haunting her, she has
wonderful moments with Ryan, sweet and sexy.
There is also
a particular conversation among Ryan, and his friend Josh and his girlfriend
Charlotte, that was funny and thought-provoking. She talks too much about
certain things guys apparently don't want to talk about and she raises
awareness about the fact that if they did, maybe things of the intimate kind
would be clearer. Food for thought. I'd love to have that conversation in real
life ;o)
I couldn't
have foreseen the path the plot took when I was reading the first part of
Wildcard. This story is unfolding in a very unexpected and strange fashion, and
it's getting more thrilling by the minute.
Both Ryder
and Scar are going to make big mistakes. Let's see if they can make it out of
them in one piece.

About Missy Johnson
Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she’s a cat, a cat who thinks he’s a dog…you get the picture).
When she’s not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.
