MY OPINION
Mix a little bit of Star Trek with a lot of naughty
daydreams, and you'll get this steamy serial about sexy pirates, space
conspiracies, alien abductions and spying missions to save the world.
Written in a very light tone, this first episode
introduces a sweet but resilient young woman from Earth who faces the choice of
a lifetime: becoming a heroine.
I had a lot of fun because it feels like a Han Solo
adventure through a lens of lust and humorous levity. Dark themes such as
slavery, trafficking and torture make for a harsh background perfect for space
quests and heroism. Ruby gives herself to her mission while encountering
aliens, pirates and lots of new, kinky experiences. As it should, it ends up
with Ruby in danger, so I imagine that the next episode will be full of all
kinds of action. Can't wait :-D
ABOUT NINA CROFT
Nina Croft grew up in the north of England. After training as an accountant, she spent four years working as a volunteer in Zambia which left her with a love of the sun and a dislike of 9-5 work. She then spent a number of years mixing travel (whenever possible) with work (whenever necessary) but has now settled down to a life of writing and picking almonds on a remote farm in the mountains of southern Spain.
Nina’s writing mixes romance with elements of the paranormal and science fiction.
