MY OPINION
A lovely
innocent romance, and beautiful writing that evokes so many feelings.
It's the
first time for this couple. Prepare yourself for the most graphic and
scorching-hot double first time ever!
I can never
say no to this author's stories because the love depicted in them is as
satisfyingly good as the narrative.
In this
novel, it's about discovery and sweet connection, yet also raw and sensual. The
female character is very interesting as she's physically impaired and thinks
she's not worthy of love. It really moved me the respectful, yet powerfully
sensual attraction Allister feels towards her. The scenes evolve from awkward awareness to
impossible-to-deny passion intertwined with possessive and devoted claiming.
There's also
a dramatic twist that puts Leah in danger, revealing secrets that may cost her
life and love in one sweep. I hadn't read the first novel with May and Decker
who appear now, too. That was confusing at first, but I overcame it and enjoyed
both couples' romances and the very sweet, fun epilogue.
