MY OPINION
If there was
ever a cowboy who was going to melt a smut woman's heart, this is it.
Insta-love
forever is best served when there is a good story behind it with characters who
have fears and insecurities and lots of love to offer. This story is full of
steamy loveliness, yet it also satisfies the need for people that feel real in
our heads.
This is not a
novella. It's a fully developed story with a dirty talker of a cowboy who falls
heads over heels in love and is not afraid to be bossy about it. It has two
nice epilogues full of fun and family love.
I had the
distinct impression that these characters were a match made in heaven. He
is a self-made man with a talent for
healing horses, she is a curvy woman who has been wounded by cruelty.
With all the
dominance that an alpha male in love can display, this mountain man has the
right sensibility to heal his woman's hurts and bring her more pleasure and
reassurance than she could ever dream. I loved the way he fights for her. There
is a bit of a hard-edged drama that stains their past, but when it explodes in
their faces it proves how brave they are and how in love. I liked that extra
touch of danger and tragedy. Along with the good writing and the delicious
steamy scenes, the cowboy-curvy girl tandem really gave me wonderful hours of
enjoyment. Yes, I'm happy with his author so I'm positive I'll read more of her
sexy imagination.

“Lean back. I just want to see something. I won’t hurt you. You know that, don’t you?”
“I don’t know anything about you,” she stutters but she leans back, her hands moving to support her body as she settles against the cotton feed sack behind her.
“Yes you do. You know a lot about me.” I flip the final few inches of her skirt up to her waist, my eyes dropping from her parted, pink lips to see the matching hush of cotton panties covering what’s now mine. “You watched me tonight as much as I watched you. You can learn a lot about someone from watching.”
“I wasn’t watching you.” She does her best to sound indignant and I stifle my chuckle.
“See, like right now.” I drag my fingertips over the slip of fabric between her legs, feeling the warmth and the wetness that’s seeped through. “You’re watching me.” I give her a little grin. Even under my thick beard, I know she sees me.
