Yay! It's that time in the month for another installment in this great series by AUDREY CARLAN. I absolutely loved OCTOBER.
MY OPINION
Amazing
story! I loved the first chapters to bits. The reunion of Mia and Wes was
intense, powerfully emotional and it moved me to no end.
Then, the
black hole of very painful memories came to the surface about Wes' ordeal. It
was hard, harrowing even. How can you enjoy something so heartbreaking? Oh,
yes, I'm evil, but I'm ok with it ;o) Still, it was hard to digest all the
horrid things Wes and Gina had endured.
Once again,
the author squeezes the reader's heart with her thoughtful, honest prose when
dealing with the consequences of so much pain for this great couple's
relationship.
Fortunately,
the author is always creative to keep Mia busy with all kinds of new ventures.
There are also plenty of moments for love and family connection which I really
appreciated as I've grown very fond of these characters.
Mia's journey
is filled with surprises and lessons of the heart. I'm all primed to find out
where her life leads from here. It's an exciting time for Mia and I'm keen on
everything that's happening to her as a woman and as a woman in love.
