Gemma James promised a hell of an end to the Condemned series. She has't disappointed. Yet I still crave more...

MY OPINION

It's been a hell of a wait for this final book, but the sheer force of its writing has made it all worthwhile.

As much as I liked the previous stories, I couldn't imagine what else could be in store for Alex and Rafe. They'd been through all kinds of nightmares full of pain and agony, yet the author's imagination has been able to concoct another turn of this twisted and deviant romance.

There is a dark fire inside Rafe and he's intent on burning Alex with his particular brand of hard love. I enjoyed this difficult reunion. They've been separated and that has marred the strong bond they'd had in the past. It's a battle of dominance and trust between them that fills the pages with agonizing thoughts and extremely intense intimacy.

Fast-paced and with double POV, this finale delivers another round of danger, mind-blowing emotions, guilt-ridden fate and torrid darkness. When you think you know what's going to happen, it steers away and makes you think again.

I was glad to meet Zach and Jax again, though believe it or not, these two still need another story of their own. Anyway, it's been a great goodbye for this intriguing, darkest and violent couple.
