Meet MR KNIGHTSBRIDGE

Hi, book buddies ☺ Are you enjoying the summer? Let me improve it by introducing you to MR KNIGHTSBRIDGE. He is one swoony romance hero ;-)

  MR. KNIGHTSBRIDGE by Louise Bay
Release Date: July 7th

MY OPINION

Sparkling jewels, British hero, and a romance to sweep you off your feet and into hot fantasies.

I loved every word in this story. The characters are extremely human, and the plot grabbed my attention and never let go. A jewelry competition in London is the backdrop of a down-to-earth American woman and a driven British man falling in love.

Dexter is a gentleman, generous to a fault, and his emotional pain is the source of a great evolution. Hollie is selfless, hard-working, a great sister, and has dreams to improve her life out of its dreariness. All is set against London's opportunities, the design of fine jewelry, a challenge to create beauty from stones, and two oppossing worlds coming together to bring love and hope to each other.

I loved the phases that their relationship goes through. The excitement of hot chemistry, the engaging dialogues, the eye-opening truths about the ugly parts of their lives, the weight of family ties and the emotions they carry. I could feel how they fought their inner demons while finding so much support and enticement in each other.

Let me confess how amazing the passionate scenes were. So arousing! Yet I enjoyed them all the more because I liked what the characters were working on to achieve, how they faced their responsibilities and also their flaws. There was a hilarious scene where Hollie gets tipsy, some very funny lines, a gorgeous romance with their upheavals. I was sad when they reached a point of no return and the consequences meant they missed on sharing a pivotal moment. However, the mix of harsh reality and intoxicating feelings of need and love was wonderfully meaningful.

It's one of my favourite books from this author, and also in this series that I am sure is going to be amazing.

Dexter Daniels prefers gems over women.
Emeralds over girlfriends.
Diamonds over marriage.

He might be the most successful jeweler of his generation, a loyal friend and some say the most handsome man in London, but his past means he doesn’t deal in love. When Hollie Lumen enters the ballroom where exquisite royal jewels are on display, she brings Dexter’s world to a screeching halt. Despite her hand-me-down dress and borrowed shoes, Hollie is even more stunning than the jewelry. Feisty, funny and ferociously independent, she’s all Dexter can see.

Hollie Lumen can’t catch a break. She thought an internship in London was her chance to escape her responsibilities back in Oregon and for her dreams to come true. When she’s fired only a few weeks after touching down, she’s ready to give up and go home. Hollie never asks for help. She knows the only person she can rely on is herself. So what’s she going to do about the tall, dark, handsome stranger who keeps rescuing her? She’s going to rescue him right back.

Mr. Knightsbridge is a stand-alone romance.
