MY OPINION

This modern Jane Eyre retelling will bewitch you. I am reading it right now and halfway through. It is atmospheric, provocative, and puts Jane and Beau right on the edge of the cliff.

I think Jane shows wisdom and bravery in this final part as she faces dangers both to her body and her heart. So many battles to fight! Though she is starting to channel a new strength that comes from her intense, life-changing experiences with Beau and his dark legacy.

He is one tortured man, believe me. And lashes out in the crooked belief that is protecting Jane from the worst of himself, but I think he is going through a catharsis every time he tries to push her away. She is the ocean, unrelenting against the rock.

The hot scenes are brutal and soul-consuming. Lyrical when this couple can't deny their love and infinite need for each other. I really loved their connection, how deeply she understands him and soothes him. With immense sacrifice, they face the worst danger to their family. I think the suspense part works beautifully with the passionate writing. I could feel the torn emotions, the fear and longing, the mortal risk. 

It's a powerful ending to the trilogy and to this story about a woman who strives to build herself a future and, in the way, saves lives and hearts. I loved the epilogue because it's full of dreams fulfilled and family and care.
