MY OPINION
You can bet that this is a lovely and hilarious romance.
Dynamic pace and bittersweet sentiments combine in this rom-com that sports a constantly funny atmosphere. The characters are to kiss all over. She is adorable and spirited, never letting her very human regrets put out the fire in her dreams. He is a superman to drool over with a pride rooted on proving his worth to the family he would die for.
I think I loved the prose as much as the plot. It is lively, inspiring, funny yet also moving. How can you not be swept into this fighting romance between a lactose-intolerant, fled-to-the-city girl and a giant of a farmer with heart and muscles to impress?
The plot revolves around the hard work at the farm and how to save it, along with its infinite possibilities for fun activities and fresh produce to sell in cute ways. I really loved Olivia's ideas that always made me smile and want to be part of everything. Oh, the baby goats! And I totally support her with her choice of colour. It's what's best of life :-D
On the romantic side, it's a real duel between the main characters. They fight with teeth and nails, but it's all so emotional and comes from a deep place in the heart. When they finally give in and share their tumultuous and emotional passion, it's as if it had happened to me. Total epiphany!
Olivia and Jake have real sparks between them. Smoldering passion and true love beat in their relationship, but oh, it doesn't stop there. The farm is alive with family bonds, vendettas, hard choices, past feuds, trust on the balance, and a twisted path to realising true happiness and belonging. It's pretty and fun, yet I also shed my bunch of tears.

STACI HART has been a lot of things up to this point in her life: a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom to three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, even though she’s certainly not the cleanest, nor is she the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party–especially if she’s been drinking whiskey–and her favorite word starts with f and ends with k.
