Cute and steamy shifter novella, second in the series with a new couple, the mayor and alpha falling in love with his mate. Larissa and Kace make a wonderful match. She is strong and fiery, right what the alpha needs to face his challenges in town. I loved his dominating reaction to finding his mate as much as all the dialogue and wolf pack situations that gave more flesh to the plot and atmosphere. It is much more interesting to read this way. It's also steamy and fun. I enjoyed the exchanges between male shifters, the three friends being loyal to each other, and the talk about a different kind of shifter coming to town. Looking forward to it! The final epilogue is so good, too, with family shenanigans :-D
